THURSTON WOODS

Thurston Woods is a Houston native with a degree in Spanish from the University of Houston. His hospitality career began at the age of 20 when he joined the acclaimed Pappas Bros Steakhouse in Houston. Recognized as one of the best wine programs in America, Thurston acquired advanced skills in beverage management and service including the title of Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers.

Thurston’s passion for wine and hospitality led him to take on a leadership role as the Assistant General Manager at the luxurious Masraff’s in Houston’s Galleria district. 

In the Spring of 2021, Thurston joined The Bastion Collection as Restaurant Manager for the pre-opening team of Le Jardinier. He is now the General Manager for all Bastion restaurants at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, including michelin-starred le jardinier and cafe leonelli.
